Good breakfast spot! There are a ton of breakfast options that sit along the path I and out of Williamsburg. Each has something special that makes it worth a stop. The Smokey Griddle is a good, authentic diner. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the food was good and very fairly priced. I ordered sausage gravy, and my wife ordered the French toast with fruit. Both tasted very good! I'd definitely stop here again
Great food. Great service. While it may not look like much from the outside, this is a place to go. The prices are very reasonable. The food is very good. The parking is free. Staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They were always checking on how my wife and I were doing. Inside seating is very casual, but comfortable. I had the chorizo con huevos while my wife had the western omelette. We both left happy people.
Great breakfast eatery that I took my family to. We were looking for a brunch to enjoy before heading out to the historic sites nearby and found Smokey Griddle! The service we was friendly and quick! The food came out pretty quick as well! The Steak and Eggs we ordered was delicious along with the Country Fried Steak and Eggs! The pancakes and waffles were amazing as well! The only dish that we did not enjoy as much was the Fried Chicken and Waffles, but other than that we would 100% come and enjoy the other items on the menu!
Exactly what you want in a pancake house. Delicious breakfast and reasonable prices. I had the huevos rancheros with chorizo, which was on special. Regular huevos rancheros (sans chorizo) are normally on the menu. Awesome spot and super friendly staff.
Breakfast Chimichangas are fantastic!!! The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for an early morning breakfast. The staff were attentive and the food is really good. Will be back.
Went on a Saturday morning about 9:30. No wait, but they were busy. Service was excellent and fast! Breakfast was fantastic! Spouse had the breakfast sandwich and home fries, I had a ham and cheese omelet with home fries and rye toast. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious! We'll definitely be back!
The biscuits & gravy was good enough that I ordered a second helping. The home fries were excellent & the grits were grits. I loved seeing a clean & freshly mopped bathroom in the morning. You'd be surprised how often that isn't the case. Overall, it's a winner.
We really enjoyed every bit of our experience here. We are a family of picky eaters and everyone was satisfied. Great menu options, food is fantastic, environment is clean and inviting, service was delightful, price reasonable. I am baffled that this place wasn't packed. It should be. I mean it was great for us during our visi. If y'all haven't been here, you're missing out!!
